Manchester Airport Car Parking

There is Short stay parking in the multi-storey car park next to each terminal. The parking is only a few minutes walk, all under cover, to check-in. There are no transfer buses provided to or from short stay parking.

Disabled parking bays are available next to the lifts in all of the short stay car parks. Wheelchair assistance is provided by airlines, and arrangements should be made prior to booking a flight.

There is one long stay car park serving Terminals 1 and 3, and a separate long stay car park just for Terminal 2. Terminals are approximately a half of a mile away. Transfer buses run every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day.

Clearly visible disabled bays are available in all of the long stay car parks, near the entrance or reception area.

There’s no advance payment required; simply drive up, park and pay on departure. Payments can be made at any of the automatic ticket machines in and around the terminal buildings before going back to your vehicle. The machines accept all major credit and debit cards as well as cash and receipts are available on request.

An alternative method is to take a ticket from the arrival barrier. On departure move to the exit barrier, insert your ticket followed by your credit or debit card. Simply use the same card you used on entry. Your card will be debited with the correct amount and returned to you with a receipt.

The parking areas are Park Mark accredited for safe and secure parking.
